Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word. The text must be written in Portuguese, Spanish, French or English. All quotations must be translated into the language in which the paper is written.

Articles must not exceed 40.000 characters (spaces, footnotes and bibliographical references included, abstracts excluded). Each article must be accompanied by an abstract not exceeding 750 characters, translated into two languages: Portuguese and Spanish or French. The title must be translated into the same two languages of the abstracts. After each abstract, should be given 4 or 5 keywords, translated in the same languages of the abstracts.
The reviews must not exceed 10.000 characters (spaces and bibliographical references included). -
Along with text, the author provides:
- name
- institutional filiation and its respective full address
- e-mail
- ORCID ID (cf. https://orcid.org/). -
The author of an article/review follows all the guidelines of preparation of the text as indicated at https://exaequo.apem-estudos.org/page/submissao-de-artigos?lingua=en.
The list of quoted works must be presented according to The Chicago Manual of Style (17th ed. - cf. https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/home.html). - Name, in the section "Comments for the Editor", at least 4 experts with work and publications on the topic addressed in your article so that they might be contacted to review your text. If you are submitting a book review, please validate this item in order to continue, but there is no need to name any experts.
