APEM seeks to
- Facilitate contacts among researchers in this area namely through the regular publishing of a Journal
- Facilitate access to databases and Documentation Centres through Cooperation Protocols with other institutions
- Disseminate the results of researches and foster its use both at a theoretical and at a practical level, through an intense information activity and supporting publications, seminars and debates
- Establish relations with organisations which pursue similar goals in other countries
- Take public positions on issues relating to Women’s Studies
